On Saturday, September 17th, LEGACY friends and supporters came together to raise more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS at our Annual LEGACY Benefit, honoring our long-time supporter and Board Member, Alan Lindy. We could not have reached this monumental result without Alan, the Lindy Family and friends. Alan’s beautiful grandchildren helped us dedicate a banner to their “Mensch” that will now hang proudly in the LEGACY Center. We were also thrilled to have MaliVai Washington, our special guest, who received the LEGACY Leadership Award. Mal’s presence and remarks were inspirational!
In 2022, LEGACY celebrates 70 years as Champions for Children. We have been recognizing the milestone all year, but it was truly special to formally commemorate the achievement at the Benefit surrounded by friends and family. We continue to provide FREE and low-cost tennis and educational programs throughout the city of Philadelphia in parks, schools, community centers, and at our flagship LEGACY Center in East Falls for thousands of deserving youth.
