Since the age of 9 the game of tennis has shaped and molded De-Sean physically and mentally. A former junior of Legacy Youth Tennis and Education (formerly Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education) De-Sean gained his love of tennis through the National Junior Tennis League summer program and is one of few who went through the entire Ashe program.
Prior to joining the heavyweight Legacy staff De-Sean attended La Salle University gaining his B.A. in Communication and minor in Spanish. Now the Lead of the Rising Stars program De-Sean brings an upbeat energy, De-Sean is also an Assistant 4th grade teacher at Germantown Friends School and is USTA 10 & under certified.
Obtaining a ranking of #7 in the Middle States section and #176 nationally for Boys 16 & under De-Sean led his high school team, Roman Catholic High School, to the Philadelphia Catholic League finals (2007-2010). Along the way De-Sean went an impressive 61-0 at the #1 singles position and was 2x District 12 singles champion (2009, 2011). Awarded a scholarship to Division I program, La Salle University, De-Sean led the team in wins at the #1 singles and doubles positions (2011-2015). De-Sean is currently an Assistant Coach for Middle School and Varsity Girls and Boys tennis teams at Germantown Friends School.
