COVID-19 Precaution Update

Dear Legacy Community,
We are writing to update you on what we are currently doing in response to COVID-19. As always, our ongoing priority is for the health and safety of our students, families, and staff. At this time, Legacy has no known cases of coronavirus and we continue to take steps to help ensure the safety of the entire Legacy community. We have been disinfecting and cleaning all surfaces consistent with CDC guidelines and have installed hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the facility. Right now, all programming is on and our staff is continuing to deliver high-quality lessons and to support our students and maintain normalcy, but these are uncertain times. We continue to assess clinics, lessons, events and other activities on a daily basis in light of the most up to date public health and safety information available. Please stay connected through our website for programmatic changes and possible closings.
Additionally, please take the following CDC-suggested preventative actions to reduce the risk of developing COVID-19.
·          Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
·          If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
·          Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
·          Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
·          Stay home when you are sick.
·          Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands. If a tissue is not available, cough or sneeze into your elbow and not your hand.
·          Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
As an extra precaution, parents may want to consider dropping off and picking up children before and after clinics and/or lessons.
If you suspect you are having symptoms of the current coronavirus, please call the PA Department of Health at 1-877-PA HEALTH (1-877-724-3258) and you will be directed from there.
